Topic	I blame everyone who ever complained about dark and gritty reboots
Skye Reynolds 05/26/18 9:56:46 PM #12:	I've expressed annoyance for years at how reboots all seem to end up being The Dark Knight Returns or My Little Pony. It's almost like the two-party political system applied to the arts. Is your story dark, gritty, and (superficially) sophisticated or is it irreverent, whimsical, and self-referential? Only Disney/Marvel really seems to find a middle ground anymore.
