Pretty much the correct decision. By all appearances Trump was about to get bent over a barrel in this conference; it never should have been agreed to in its current format and plainly had insufficient planning put into it. Best to cut losses now while it's still limited to just Trump's reputation and an increase in North Korea's status in Asia.

It's funny to me that you think this given that Obama was a major proponent of the "maximum pressure" sanctions effort that was widely credited with putting North Korea in a position where they would even want to negotiate.

I don't mean to poke holes in your right-wing ranting, but Obama was anything but soft on North Korea.
