Topic	Has my art improved? Open to any and all criticism, even harsh or 'not helpful'.

And since you said something about the stroke size, it sounds like you're just using a mouse. It would definitely be better if you were using something that was pressure sensitive. I use a pressure sensitive tablet and stylus, but have pressure sensitivity turned off due to the aforementioned silly 'things must be consistent' approach.
