I usually tip 15% though, I round it out to that amount. If they are extremely lazy though and the service is absolute trash.. then they get less than 10%. I'm not mean enough to leave them no tip...

Spoken like someone who's never worked in a restaurant. Not saying it's ok to give rude service or anything like that but there are plenty of potential reasons that may be outside the servers or bartenders hands for you getting service that wasn't up to your standards. In my experience, there is very rarely an instance where a server or bartender will intentionally give you bad service but customers tend to take everything personally when something goes wrong
