PADI certification for open water scuba diving

i'm going to a resort next week and want to do the coursework in advance, and just the practicals on site, something the resort advertises

but it doesn't lay out a process anywhere, or indicate whether i should be buying a different package from what's advertised on their site, which includes the 12 hours of classes onsite

but i'll just skip scuba this time, get my cert when i have time this year and do it in the future
