Funny story about that, my friend's Dad, who in most ways is a pretty decent person, has not Brushed his teeth or gone to the dentist is 30+ years, his teeth (or what is left of them) are just little black nubs, and his gums are this gross reddish black. He single highhandedly scared me into routinely going to the dentist and of course Brushing and flossing. I would NOT recommend not taking care of your teeth.

Sugar did that.

If you eat a natural diet with no soda, no candy, no sweets at all. Plenty of high fiber vegetables, fruit, and meat you won't need to brush your teeth. Me personally even though I avoid sugar like the plague and have never had a cavity as a result I still brush and rinse twice daily as its just a habit at this point.

Ahhh I can not stand Candy/Soda.

My brother who lost his teeth loves the stuff.
