No because they choose the spot they only know of because they know it upset some old lady.
If it was support of the community they would have done the exact same thing literally anywhere else.
Sure they're having "fun" but the fun is "Hehehehe, this probably REALLY upsets that bitch! Lol fuck her!" spitefulness, This wasn't support. They chose that spot to be part of something.
To put it in terms you'd understand: It's like saying Operation Mi'ihen from FFX was "Support" between the Al Bhed and Yevonites.
It just seems so bitter and unfriendly. All it will do is reinforce anger and spitefulness in the world.
