This isn't just the dark side of reddit. It's the dark side of any site you're on. The statistics for just how many people <might> be pedos these days is fucking alarming. In 2008, a Dr. Seto estimated the prevalence of pedophiles to be about 5% of the population. I bet he'd estimate somewhere closer to 8-10% if he conducted those same surveys today, just a decade later.

And it's messed up if you think about it. There's a decent chance that if you have a lot of friends on Facebook, for example, some of them might be pedophiles. Same for your Twitter, Snapchat, etc. You could have pedophile friends and not even know it. Be wary out there, people.
