This is religious fasting, not sure what benefit youre thinking of.

Also gotta love the traffic... so empty when going out early. Everybodys still sleepy. Of course, its basically impossible to be home before the break time so it evens out

For a single day or a couple days? Nah. For 30 days in a row? Yes. You try.

Dude. If you sleep 8 hours a day that's already the majority of your "fasting". You struggle to go half a day without shoving food in your mouth?

I practice intermittent fasting. Last meal is finished before 9pm. I don't eat or consume calories until 6pm. It's not very difficult unless you're a professional athlete or a glutton.
