No, the Starbucks thing was because the two men were told they could not use the washroom unless they were paying customers (this is/was policy). When they refused to do so, they became belligerent and refused to leave. The police were called and gave them ample time to leave.
Two sides to every story... unfortunately, only one side seems to be 'available.'

That is exactly what happened... there are recordings, statements, etc of the events that unfolded. Maybe 'white people' were allowed to 'loiter', but company policy did not allow this in the first place. Aside from that, it has never been an issue at that Starbucks before... if people were told to leave or order; they did.
Not only that, but they literally admitted that they knew they were breaking the law, but didn't care. ---
