Guys.... opinion wanted.

I am 26, so is my gf. We have been together since 2009 and we are both in the same boat in life.

She is really pushing hard to have kids, but I don't want to. She knows that we are getting old..

The main reason I don't want kids, is the fact that I don't consider myself an adult yet. In other words, I want to have a steady career, place to live, etc. before taking on the challenge of raising a child.

Aside from that, deep down, I am just not a fan of this world. Why bring another person into it only so that it can suffer the game of life?

Anyways... if I were to have a child, I would do it before 30.

I really don't want kids until I feel stable.

i think it is a smart move to wait until you're stable before you have kids, that is kind of common sense to me tbh.

that being said, if you do not WANT kids, you're firm in this, and she does, you are at an impasse. the only option here is to break up, full stop.

dont given into the sunken cost fallacy or whatever people do to convince themselves to stay in doomed relationships where there's a major difference in values, do what is right for you (and her). being together since 09 doesnt mean shit ultimately
