I just saw it as well for the first time last weekend and almost stopped watching it after 15 minutes in. The whole video diary opening was just super cringy. We stuck it out and the movie got slightly more watchable, but eventually, shortly after the DC elevator rescue, we just stopped watching. It was just too bad to continue watching. The main character was annoying. Very whiny. And his friend that finds out he's spiderman was even more annoying. The "bully" or whatever you want to call him was so over the top and ridiculous. I can't imagine anyone seriously considering this a top tier Marvel film. whoa boy this feels like a copypasta --- Lord have mercy on my soul, I've had a good run but I can't run anymore.
