I'm a loner myself. I lived alone for years without really being social (aside online). I never really get bored (the list of things I want to do would last 1000 years easily) and I don't really feel the need to be around people. Not for lack of friends either.

Now with my wife things are busy, and we have a lot of mutual friends we see frequently, but honestly it burns me out. I'm happier this way and I love her more than anything, but if something ever happens and we were to break up, I wouldn't look for someone else and instead just go back to loner life.
