LOL tc is wrong

but also yall with $10k+ in a savings account, that's too much IMO unless you really go through a lot of money.

Huh, TIL I have too much money

Put it in investments so you're not getting MAYBE 1% interest

I get like 2.X% interest, forgot the exact amount. Why risk investing money?

Common misconception. There are plenty of fairly safe investments. Saving acct is low risk low yield, where your yield is guaranteed but it sucks.

Something like an IRA or a mutual fund is medium risk medium yield, where you might lose today but over time there's basically no chance that you don't outpace a sacings account pretty drastically.

Then ofc you have what most young people think of--high risk high yield, like the stock market or bitcoin, where you could lose everything in a second but on the other hand if you win, you're loaded.

Alright, so assuming i had like 15 grand in australia, how would i go about safely investing?
