The moment the Undertale fanbase turned to shit can be traced back to a YouTube video where someone made an Undertale music video out of "Bad Apple" Someone in the comments pointed out that this was a touhou song and not an Undertale song and the response was something like "nobody knows what touhou is and it fits Undertale better anyway" This rapidly devolved into a fandom war where Undertale fans were unable to do anything except make huge asses out of themselves.
