Honestly? The unquestionable goodness and value of truth is one of the greatest lies there is.


Truth is independent of how we feel about it or the value we prescribe it.


Sure. Which is why it can sometimes be far more damaging and negative than whatever benefits the seeker hoped to receive from it.


I think that's just part of being a truthseeker, though. You can't expect it to be rainbows and sunshine. The negative aspects do not mean it shouldn't be pursued.


That's noble as long as you understand those risks and are willing to face them.

Personally there are some things I've learned that I really didn't need or want to know. Lol.

Like one time my mom got drunk and started telling me about how she tried e once. Didn't need to know that. Lol.
