The unquestionable goodness and value of truth is one of the greatest lies there is. Truth is independent of how we feel about it or the value we prescribe it. Sure. Which is why it can sometimes be far more damaging and negative than whatever benefits the seeker hoped to receive from it. All I meant was that truth is presented as, and generally perceived as, a great and inherently valuable (or even beneficial) thing.
