Topic	Should black people forgive white people for slavery?

However I don't like the fact that people pretend the just because slavery was abolished in the 1800's that black Americans weren't still being treated like dirt. Instead of trying to get an apology from white people, I think we should focus more on improving our underperforming schools and change the way the students are taught. Being in a poor area shouldn't mean a school should have shit funding. Also we need to find a way to open up opportunities for the citizens living in those areas. Better access to transportation, better jobs, and affordable housing based off what jobs are paying in the area. Yeah buddy. As cheesy as the saying is, knowledge really is power. These poor kids going to poorly funded schools with teachers that don't give a shit.
