The listing itself says 1 year of GS 11 equivalent plus IAT II certification (which I have, Security+), and I've worked 4 years of IT + a year of QA + 4 years of school for IT.

I also have disabled veteran preference.

I'm naturally a "get my hopes up" kinda guy, but I'm not being overeager by saying I'm pretty qualified for the listed position.

But yeah, there IS a lot of luck involved in getting a government job, so I'm just hopeful they give me an interview and I don't blow it, lol.

(There's also a second GS 12 position I applied for like 2 days after this one, which I'm even more qualified for really, it's literally just a SysAdmin job, but yeah, @CaptainOfCrush isn't lying when he says this shit takes forever, they haven't even reviewed my resume for that one.)
