I don't see why girl groups/organizations can exclude boys and that's fine, nobody bats an eye. But having a "guys only" space is somehow like a crime against humanity. Gets labelled toxic masculinity, etc.
What if little Billy wants to sell cookies and learn how to sew and craft? (admittedly, I have no idea what Girl Scouts actually do lol).
*groans*
What's wrong with what he said?
Because every space is/was a male only space for the better part of our existence? Or maybe the fact that he thinks Girl Scouts are entirely just Home Ec.
So it's okay to have a girls only organization, but not the other way around? Sexist.
If you can't understand that the girl's only organizations are reactionary and the male only organizations are promoting an unfair status quo, I'm not really sure how else to explain it to you. Like, if the entirety of history had men and women treated equally and every child born today was given 100% equal opportunity regardless of gender, sure, it would be sexist. Unfortunately, you'd have to be willfully naive to believe that is how the world works.
So it's ok to be sexist. Got it.
Hey, we both know you've got absolutely nothing to respond so you are just going to keep saying inflammatory things to try and get my goat and feel like you 'won', so why don't we just save the trouble and leave it at that.
