I actually liked his slavery comment because it's 100% true. Like you said, slavery was indeed a choice. The other choice was to run, fight back, die, etc. I wanna say that I actually heard that actually heard the whole "slavery being a choice" thing somewhere else. Pretty sure Ye wasn't the first famous person to say that.

I do appreciate the whole "live your life, think for yourself" message.

I don't think the message was crazy. I agreed with most of what he said actually (a few things didn't jive with me), but the way he presented himself and his thoughts were not good.

The whole black on black crime thing Ye mentioned was not rational.

I agree with what the other black guy said up to a point. I agree with Kanye that we should treat each other with love and yatta yatta.
