My previous Boston Terrier slept in my bed because was good about staying in her own blanket down at the foot of the bed. But the current one sleeps in a kennel because she insists on getting under my blanket and trying to snuggle with me. I tried giving her a little bed of her own down on the floor but she wouldn't stay in it and always got in the bed.

My little dog will try to snuggle all the time. My bigger dog likes the floor. But will jump on the bed if he thinks the little dog is getting extra attention...

Cats sleep wherever, outside, on a chair in the kitchen, the couch in the living room, on the dog bed, on someone's bed, or even in the middle of the hallway for someone to trip over.

Dogs sleep either one someone else's bed, or on the couch in the living room. Though they used to sleep in a crate.

None of them are allowed to sleep on my bed anymore though.

My dogs have their own couch. They don't normally sleep on it, but they hang out on it...

And my dogs do like to just rest in the middle of the hallway sometimes...

Why are they allowed to sleep in your bed anymore? Did they do something?
