Butchered Mega Man and pretty much everything related to it (Mega Man X, Mega Man Legends 3); refused to translate Ace Attorney Investigations 2; axed all of the non-English translations of the Ace Attorney games and moved to digital-only releases outside of Japan despite huge and widespread fan requests for a physical release (initially claiming that it was due to low sales then, when AA5 sold well and exceeded their self-admitted "aggressive" sales targets, kept future games digital-only seemingly just to dick with people); is one of the worst companies for nickle-and-diming customers with DLC, going so far as to charge $6 for a set of palette swaps (not new costumes but literal recolouring of already-existing costumes) in Street Fighter III: Third Strike (with the kicker being that said swaps are only visible to others who have bought the DLC). I could go on, but yeah, Capcom seems to take particular delight in being petty assholes to their fans.
