Not a good excuse. Im a serious anime otaku. One that watches art and not just whatever is popular. Ill pass on many things and watch every genre there ever was. Some moe can be art and most can be trash for instance. Durarara isnt BAD but at best its a 7/10 opposed to the fanbase which presents it as a 9/10 if not perfect score. It has also aged terribly. Its a fad anime that had a lot of network/merch support at a time when your average anime watcher in the US was a brooding outcast teen.
