Didn't Thanos have the infinity gauntlet like six years ago when he said "I'll do it myself" and puts it on? Because Peter Dinklage said he expected Asgard to protect the dwarves when Thanos killed them. Did this happen six years ago and no one from Asgard went there in that entire time, and Peter Dinklage just hung out the entire time doing nothing?
He had it sometime after AoU when that post credits scene occurred. Loki had been acting as Odin since Thor 2 and it's a plot point in Ragnarok that the 9 Realms are in chaos because Loki wasn't watching over them. This includes Nidavellir as was said by Eitri in IW. ---
