Kanye has been protesting?

so much for free thought.

Wut. How is that opposing free thought? I asked if Kanye had been protesting like Colin.

If Kanye was standing outside abortion clinics screaming at women and jumping up and down on lifelike babydolls while shouting "THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE DOING!" I'd see the point.

But going "One man is actively protesting controversial issues in a way millions find offensive on global TV and the other sent out a nice tweet encouraging being open minded and respectful. It's hypocritical to support one but not the other" is insanity.

Neither one of those things are illegal, both are free to say what they want. What's being called out in this topic is the fact that Colin and other celebrities including actors and musicians are told to stay in their lane and keep out of politics publicly. Once Kanye voices his, those same people defend him. Neither one of them are doing anything wrong, but the fact that anyone supports one and trashes the other due to opinion difference is a hypocrite.
