not really, the credit card company can still force you to pay/file bankruptcy/garnish your wages if you don't pay your credit card bill


So when you're disputing $5K in charges would you rather have $5K missing from your bank account or $5K in charges on your statement while the dispute is ongoing?

The point is the credit card gives you extra protection while a debit card you are out money from your actual bank account during this process.

And no shit if you don't pay your debts then they will put you through collections I don't see how your post is a logical reply.

lol did you even read my post if the news station hadn't responded to her complaint, the credit card comapny would have garnished her wages and forced her to pay her $138,000 of fraudulent charges.
