One thing I really don't get: How Republicans in one hand can say "Democrats were the slave owners, and south!" Then when Democrats are like "Hey, you know what? Let's take those confederate statues down." They scream "OUR HERITAGE!" It's like they don't realize that Democrat today isn't the same as Democrat 150 years ago. But then DO realize it, and celebrate those Democrats they demonize for simply being CALLED Democrats. The same people they revere any other time. --- Growing up, I wish some teacher told me "You probably won't ever need this, but if you don't learn it, you might miss out on something really cool." ...
