Funny thing about Canada geese. In some parks they don't mind people because they had learned not to bite the hands that feeds and people at park throws food for them. But in places where they are wild with little to no human interaction, they will chase.

What's worse, it won't matter if you lived in the area for years, if the geese decides to nest in your backyard, you won't be able to go out in the backyard for a few months because they are assholes. Like how early white men were when they drove Native Americans away to claim land. There's even a video on internet of geese who settled in zoo within gorilla's enclosure and picking fight with gorilla who had lived there far longer than those goose had been alive. Supposedly there's a video of a goose who actually went and bit a sleeping gorilla in his balls and ended up getting pounded and ripped apart in revenge but I can't find this.

Right now there's a pair in my large backyard pond (about 2 square acres) and it seems like I won't be able to go swimming or fishing there for a while. I can't legally shoot them or harm them until fall.
