If he's no longer legally allowed to use that name or persona, maybe he'll finally have the opportunity to pursue other things without people expecting the next review. He's tried many other persona's, like Chester A. Bum and Dominic the Bartender, but wasn't as successful. Because of this he decided to combine the Nostalgia Critic with other things he wanted to do like skits and in-depth movie analysis with occasional cameo's of his other characters.
