But her coach is notorious for limiting her skater's eating and stunting their growth. Poor girl has to deal with a lot for her age. She recently became one of the youngest athletes to win gold at the Olympics for ladies singles in figure skating, yet still dealt with frustration from the community thinking Medvedeva should've won. Her coach also seems to show favouritism towards Zhenya. Alina still competed at worlds, but stress, pressure and fatigue got to her and she missed the podium. There are a lot of expectations put on her, especially with the Russian skater pipeline being so dominant.
