I think the problem most people have with this narrative is that theres no evidence of racism.

What they were asked to leave because they were black?

What there were other white people there who hadnt bought anything and had been sitting there for hours?

But did anyone bother to ask:
Were there other black people whom also hadnt paid for anything and were sitting there?

I know its easy to point out one factor and get to believe its for that reason. But theres a myriad of reasons why the manager could have asked them to leave.
Maybe the store was getting full and she need seats for new customers and they just were the most recent newcomers that hadnt paid for anything. Maybe she just spoke to a rude customer and took it out on them. Maybe one was her ex and didnt want him around so used her authority to oust him.
Why must we jump straight to racism when theres no clear evidence?
