And I'm pretty sure the cops did give them a chance to leave, but the guys refused because no one gave them a valid reason. The current political climate has generated all kinds of ignorance that blows my fucking mind. Believe it or not, any establishment reserves the right to ask you to leave especially (and this is the big key here) if you haven't purchased anything! They even gave these men the opportunity to purchase something and they refused. On top of this very simple concept, there is quite possibly more to this story than the media presents to you. Hell, the black police chief himself even said the arrests were justified... and that's probably because on top of the simple fact that a great many businesses won't let you just hang out there for long periods of time without buying something, there are probably details he has that huffpost isn't going to present to you because they thrive on controversial clickbait and stupid protests that generate more stories ...
