In the Wolsey translation of FF6, she does play up the lolita a bit during the third Ultros battle when she's tricking him into letting her paint him. I don't know if this is an example of sexualization here akin to the presentation of these kinds of characters in other jRPGs, or not. But it did get a bit of side-eye back in the nineties. I also don't know if that's still present in the new translation (can't remember, it's probably on YT though), or if it was present in the original japanese script. i always just characterized her as rowdy and strangely articulate for a younger child its a common trope --- ...
