RDJ made ironman great, but then the spider-man movies kind of did the opposite and sucked all the joy out of spiderman. one problem has always been, IMO, that "spiderman" as a character is rarely or never even in the movies. it's *always* peter parker. try watching the first spiderman movie and count the lines that spiderman as a character has; there's barely anything. this is one reason why Deadpool is so good: they let the hero be the hero.
