Microsoft or Remedy aren't going to make a statement that the game was a disappointment. There's one Microsoft exec who's known to bullshit in the past who said it sold fine but not every game needs a sequel. So he's just on damage control over it. Which again Quantum Break ended with a cliffhanger and a lot of loose ends. Literally every Remedy game ends with a cliffhanger and loose ends... Max Payne 2 didn't. Alan Wake did and they intended to make a sequel which didn't work out because the game was a disappointment. Same thing happened with Quantum Break. Now Remedy are working with other publishers. Do you honestly think Remedy don't intend to follow this stuff up?
