Looks like he only got the position as CEO because no one else wanted to it at the time and the reason they can't fire him because Mike owns the exclusive rights to the Nostalgia Critic. Somehow he managed to convince them to sign it over to them, so if they kick him out the Nostalgia critic brand goes away (where they get the majority of their ad revenue and sponsorships from). It's really on the Walkers as well. Even if he is doing this only to prevent literally being fired from his brand and it's really Michaud that's the horrible dude, he's losing more by staying with the guy. I mean, he reshared that ridiculous fucking statement on Channel Awesome. Just that they think they can shit all over dozens of former contributors, including Linkara and Nostalgia Chick, is criminally insane. You use the term "disgruntled employees" when it's like a dude that works for three months who shits an upper decker into the bathroom and quits. You can't say "disgruntled employees" when it's people you had working for you for years and years saying this. the nostalgia chick pointed commented on someones youtube video about the controversy that hearing the nostalgia critic clips about fair use brought back flashbacks cause she has said before that doug doesnt really understand fair use and what he did with videos was not actually protected under fair use as he has to alter the context of the clip to make it fall under the parody clause while he just showed clips as is --- yusketeer <cite>yusiko posted [p:899548339] in Angry Joe ...
