Soulessly ripping the 3D platform mechanics from Mario 64 and making them worse isn't "one thing", it's the whole thing.

I said since Mario 64 wasnt a clone and you gave only 1 criteria for something to not age well, you must believe that Mario 64 has aged well. I point to an extreme flaw with Mario 64 that hasnt aged well and that both Spyro and Crash did better.

Theres no way around this.


You simply aren't making sense. Why does ripping off from one thing somehow make that thing immune from aging? You're talking about two different, independent factors here. They've both aged poorly, Spyro even more so because it's derivative of Mario 64. That doesn't mean Mario's aged well, but it's certainly aged better.
