Topic	This nostalgia masturbation in the culture has gotten way out of hand.

Something that's derivative of much better franchises shows its age, just naturally. Making a Mario clone, adding gliding to it, and then taking out all of the fun of level design makes for a poor game in 2018. I look back on it more as a curiosity in the age of mascot platformers, not the merits of its gameplay. I will say though, getting Stewart Copeland to do the soundtrack was really awesome.
