Please. This response is more than you deserve but my movie doesn't start for another thirty minutes. And while there's no convincing you, you and I are not the only people in this thread.

Look at how the NRA frames these black men in their rebuttal against the March for our lives. Look at when they used it. It's very clear they wanted some ethnic flavor to lend their argument street cred so it doesn't just get shut down by gun control activists. Killer Mike disagrees with most of what the NRA advocates and lobbies for, but the framing of his comments effectively turned him (specifically his blackness) into a convenient shield for the NRA. He should have known better than to team up with them in any context because they will always have final editorial say about how his comments will be presented, if they are presented at all. It will always serve them first and they've been coding people like him as potential threats justifying gun sales for longer than either of us have been alive.
