Dry counties mean they dont sell alcohol period. There are very few places that sell alcohol after midnight in stores or, in the case of bars, after around 2 am. Miami is the only place I can name off the top of my head.

When I was in Maryland, I could buy alcohol after midnight. And I think the bars/clubs close a little later than that. But I could be misremembering. Again, I don't know much about what actually makes it a dry county. I read that it's normally for places that don't sell alcohol at all. But I'm just telling you what I was told when I got here. But I did read that some places prohibit sales a certain way. Maybe this is one of the ways. Idk...

Like combination counties or whatever. A combo of wet and dry or something...

No I mean if thats what they told you thats cool, Im just going by the main definition. Apparently a moist county is the in-between.

The only reason I learned the definition of a dry county is because I went on vacation in the Outer Banks and we had to drive through multiple counties to finally buy booze on a Sunday.

If you ever have to do that again and you're near. Military base with someone who can get on, you can do that. They will sell on Sunday, even in a dry or moist county...I think I remember you saying you were in the military once or twice before...
