Most superheroes have some chick they're either courting or are simply trying to protect because they love them. That's a common trope for the genre. Most people are straight, so obviously most people don't have any issue with that. Most people also have a natural aversion to homosexual actions. But there is no reason to make it more than that if you want the general audience, and not just the homosexual audience, to watch your movie.
