How did these ladies do in the tournament anywho?

Medvedeva, who the OP is about, has numerous wins across Worlds, Euros, Grand Prix, and juniors. She placed 2nd at the recent Winter Olympics. She did not compete at Worlds this year due to injury.

ISU World Championships is the biggest competition of the season. This year's results were:

Kaetlyn Osmond (Canada)
Wakaba Higuchi (Japan)
Satoko Miyahara (Japan)

Alina Zagitova, the gold medalist from this year's Olympics, and one of many from the talented Russian pipeline, was the favourite to win Worlds, but fatigue took its toll on her and she suffered from uncharacteristic under-rotations and falls in her free skate that ended up putting her in 5th.

World's Junior ladies results were:

Alexandra Trusova (Russia)
Alena Kostornaya (Russia)
Mako Yamashita (Japan)

I may have mentioned this earlier, but Trusova scored enough points in Juniors that she could've won Seniors (225.52 to Osmond's 223.23). It should also be noted that Trusova made history by being the first woman to land two quads in a single program, land two different quads, and the first to land a quad toe loop (and 2nd to land a quad salchow).
