| Thekiller37 04/02/18 4:45:00 PM #49: | From my experience, absolutely. When I was a kid we owned a pug that was 2 years old at the time. Suddenly he stopped being able to piss. After two days my mom took him to the vet as were were getting really worried. (It was late, hour drive to the closest place still open) Vet wanted a grand before even looking at him, my mom borrowed money from a friend to make the payment. After some tests the vet told her he would die very soon if she didn't shell out another $3,000 to drain the fluid and correct the problem. She couldn't afford it of course, and so he was put down.
