True but the whole "space emperor" thing fell flat on its face when super decided that there are only like 30 planets with life on them lol. Now it just seems stupid to have some galactic evil overlord that conquers planets and sells them (also occasionally gives them a case of explosions) because the numbers are completely incompatible with that narrative.
