Why do Americans incorrect pronounce

Maybe learn English before judging others for how they speak it.

I'm curious about when kids learn English in School, do they get taught how you spell e and a differently dpending on the word? Like when you say word "alternative" or "absurd" its one way, then say the word "ass" or "ask" you're replacing the "A" with something you don't even have in your alphabets. Its Finnish , pretty much.

I think that combined with letters you don't pronounce, but write makes English speakers so fucking confused when trying to pronounce foreign words, or words they haven't heard yet.
