Do you know what appeals courts do, fam? It is impossible for them to, as you say, "go against the laws." Unless you are arguing that state laws should have priority over the constitution.

I am not sure exactly what you are saying, but yes, the whole controversy is that Republicans gerrymandered according to the rules which allowed them.

That said, it has already been ruled on and the Supreme Court isn't going to touch it because they feel it is a state issue.

So, it is done and over with. No reason for either side to keep arguing over it. Just stating that there is a reasonable argument for why Republicans felt the map should not have been changed. Whether underhanded or not.

I personally could care less regarding the map. They both pretty much suck.
