It is clear they want to make an example of him so they can clamp down on it in the future and so he has to suffer for a joke. Will other comedians be hit as well? We have several big name comedians who do a lot of offensive stuff and then we have John Cleese who did plenty of Nazi/German jokes in Fawlty Towers as a big example of a popular show/comedian. Should he be arrested now because of it? It's mind boggling that this has gone as it has and I truly hope it gets thrown out.
