I liked it. I mean it had plenty of stupid moments, but they didn't bother me that much. I just don't really get what people were expecting with it.

I view Star Wars like I view Halo. The series should be over with (aside from expanded universe material) but it isn't because they make money. So everything after is a bonus if it's good, and it can be ignored if it's not good.

There are plenty of stupid moments in the OT, but they get a pass because of childhood "nostalgia".

Like what? Aside from some of the Special Edition changes and additions.

Like Luke falling 100 feet to his.....tube that conveniently led out of cloud city where the rebels conveniently found him hanging from a post.

So the answer is no and you're just nitpicking. Okay then. And TLJ had issues other than Holdo not being upfront with Poe.

The answer is yes, and none of the "issues" in TLJ ruined my enjoyment of the movie. I loved the comedy (except that scene where a rock fell on some aliens below, but many in the audience even laughed at that). I had no issue with Holdo not being upfront with Poe considering Poe's prior conduct. The throne room scene was even better than the one in ROTJ (my favorite of the OT), and the final showdown is probably the greatest scene in Star Wars history.

It absolutely crushes the joke of a movie Phantom Menace 2012. Even the 3D couldn't save it. I still don't know what that movie was even about. Amazing how anyone could place that garbage above TLJ.
