Topic	I still can't fathom how bad The Last Jedi was

I mean it had plenty of stupid moments, but they didn't bother me that much. I just don't really get what people were expecting with it. I view Star Wars like I view Halo. The series should be over with (aside from expanded universe material) but it isn't because they make money. So everything after is a bonus if it's good, and it can be ignored if it's not good. There are plenty of stupid moments in the OT, but they get a pass because of childhood "nostalgia". Like what? Aside from some of the Special Edition changes and additions. Like Luke falling 100 feet to his.....tube that conveniently led out of cloud city where the rebels conveniently found him hanging from a post. This is a good example. I have actually seen people argue that Vader or Luke himself used the Force to guide him into the tube, lol.
